A backyard experiment, shared openly
LV Prawn Lab documents my freshwater prawn hobby in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It follows the pool build, aeration, the arrival of tiny prawns and the discoveries that came afterwards. This is a personal hobby project. I do not sell prawns.
The story and the records
The site combines a filmed journey, real photographs, water-test notes, costs and an interactive model of the yard. Visitors can follow the chapters or explore the practical details behind the setup. The story includes mistakes and uncertainty as well as milestones.
An illustration is not a measurement
Interactive prawns make the site fun to explore, but they are illustrations rather than a live census. A population estimate is different from a verified survival count. Keeping those distinctions visible is part of documenting the hobby honestly.
